Following a fantastic and inspirational week of events the Social Economy Awards was the icing on the social impact cake. As part of the Social Economy Drive, the awards celebrated outstanding contributions from enterprises, charities, co-operatives, and public sector bodies that generate social value and drive positive change. following
Every category was so tough, words that were repeated by several of the judges. So to crown the eventual winners was even more deserving. Awards covered a variety of categories including awards for social economy organisations, as well as public bodies and corporate organisations. A total of over 100 organisations were nominated highlighting the exceptional social impact being created across the West Midlands social economy.
