We’re proud to officially announce the return of Social Economy Drive 2025, a landmark week dedicated to celebrating, supporting, and growing the region’s dynamic social economy. Taking place from Monday 17th to Friday 21st November, this year’s programme promises to be bigger, bolder, and even more impactful.
What to Expect
The Social Economy Drive is more than just an event—it’s a movement. Designed to shine a spotlight on organisations that are putting people, planet and purpose at the heart of business, the week features:
- Inspiring Keynotes & Panel Discussions with local and national thought leaders
- Workshops & Masterclasses for charities, CICs, co-operatives and social entrepreneurs
- Community Showcases & Marketplace Events highlighting local impact projects
- Policy Roundtables & Networking Receptions to shape future strategies and collaborations
- Youth & Future Talent Events to engage the next generation of social changemakers
The programme is curated in collaboration with key partners across the public, private and third sectors, with events hosted in venues across Birmingham and the wider region.
The Social Economy Awards 2025
The week culminates with the highly anticipated Social Economy Awards, taking place on the evening of Friday 21st November. This special event will honour the organisations, individuals and collaborations driving real social impact in our communities.
